See post #79. First, I thank the posrer 'kyzr' for offering links to his claims.
But we do need to do a sniff test....kick-the-tires, so to speak.
Let's examine the reports he offers as his 'proof' of his claims.
First, it is true that the FBI reported they hadn't found sufficient evidence against Trump's incitement of the attack on the Capitol, per the August 2021 article in Business Insider.
But, as also said earlier -- 'that was then, this is now'.
Meaning, new information, more fulsome information, testimony and documents have now offered a more comprehensive view. The Department of Justice has access to the extensive testimony and documents developed by the January 6th Committee. So, NOW....the DOJ is actively investigating criminal behavior by Trump and his enablers for the machinations prior and the incitements that led to the American tragedy of January 6th.
Trump ain't in the clear on his efforts vis-a-vis January 6th....until, and unless, the Special Counsel says so. And that cake still bakes.

And this is referencing a NBC reportage from October 2021 about Christopher Worrel held in the DC jail for his alleged activities in the J6 seditious attack on our legislators. In the NBC article the judge holds in contempt the head of that jail for failure to turn over medical records on Worrel in a timely manner.
But, like the comments above about the FBI --- times change and information becomes more available. So we have this from the DC news channel, WUSA9 : (emphasis added)
"WASHINGTON â Earlier this month, a federal judge held two top officials from the D.C. Department of Corrections in contempt over a delay in handing over medical records for a January 6 defendant. Now, the Department of Justice says he appears to have âinventedâ the emergency that led to that decision.
On October 13, U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth hauled D.C. Jail Warden Wanda Patten and D.C. Department of Corrections Director Quincy Booth into court to explain why the jail hadnât complied with his order the previous week to turn over an orthopedic specialistâs notes about a hand surgery for Christopher Worrell.
While in the custody of the D.C. Jail in May, Worrell fell in his cell and broke his pinky finger. In filings, Worrell has claimed D.C. Corrections officials didnât get him the proper medical treatment for his injury. In August, Worrell told the court that âdue to the jailâs delay the hand [would] require surgeryâ rather than being reset in a doctorâs office.
On Wednesday, the Justice Department said Dr. Robert Wilson, the Howard University Hospital doctor who examined Worrell, determined Worrellâs hand had already healed normally and that he was suffering no pain or loss of function. âDr. Wilson also confirmed that Mr. Worrell simply invented what he asserted in August 2021,â the DOJ wrote. âDr. Wilson stated in his interview that he never said anything of the sort, and that the comment Mr. Worrell attributes to him also âmakes no sense.ââ
The DOJ said medical records show Worrell was treated with a âclosed reductionâ and a splint cast for his fracture on May 17. Prosecutors say his records show he was âprimarily dissatisfied with the appearance of his pinky fingerâ and demanded surgery to fix the cosmetic issue over the advice of Wilson, who told him the risks of surgery on his healed finger could outweigh the benefits.
The DOJ says his records show he reported...... that he had removed his splint on his own. The records also show the surgery on his finger â far from being necessary or emergent â was actually an elective procedure his doctor had advised against."
So there is that.
Worrell seems to be a bad actor. (see pic below). He was not given bail due to threats he made from jail against prospective witnesses against him. He is also the defendant who Marjorie Greene just a week or two ago attempted to touted as being 'mistreated'.
Color me skeptical that he is a quality or sincere individual.
A man the DOJ has identified as Christopher Worrell, of Naples, Florida, sprays pepper gel toward police on January 6, 2021, during the Capitol riot.
