Trump presses Bondi to give him his personal revenge

I guess that when he does something that is clearly wrong or unconstitutional or unpresidential or not sane or ignorant, they just drop it into a little mental bag and throw it out. They've gone so far down the road that they can't turn back now. I don't know how else to imagine it.
Too much ego invested. They can imagine what they think you'll say.

"It's just a joke"
"He's doing it to wind up the left"
"Well, Biden said worse things"

That kind of sums up their responses.

I guess when a person just hands their lives over to someone or something like this, then spends a great deal of time and energy defending it, spinning for it and attacking for it, it takes a great deal of self esteem to admit they have been conned. And it's a lack of self esteem that made them so vulnerable to it in the first place.

It's so difficult for them that they're willing to let it rip apart their families, marriages and relationships.

Don't care. Not my circus, not my monkeys, not my ringchump.

I enjoy observing the hypocrisy, bullshit and double standards of the American right in particular and Americans in general. Even some of the ones I like and respect.

You are doing very well.
Now that's friggin' hilarious! I bet you never ever once noticed the abundant hypocrisy, insane bullshit and double standards of the American left, and even in your own posts. But you are acutely aware of any coming from the right. Why is that? One defining characteristic of the neo-left is the absolute absence of any self reflection.

Many Russians say they don't need to worry about Chump because he'll be busy thinking about his last conversation with Putin, speaking with Putin, thinking about his next conversation with Putin.
Liar

Why do you base all of your political opinions on the stupid lies you tell yourself?

Now that's friggin' hilarious!
The best bit is where you ignore 'Americans in general' in my statement, which must encompass the left.

Keep it up, please. You're the sort of poster I come here to see.

The American left is not nearly so entertaining.

I'd be pretty ******* dumb to base them on the stupid lies you tell me.

A prosecutor who breaks laws needs to be prosecuted.

We have too many Leticia James out there breaking laws and selectively prosecuting only those she disagrees with.

Can you find us ONE SINGLE CASE where James prosecuted a Democrat?

Start the Jeopardy! music...

I tried to get a discussion going about Seibert's resignation (trump claims he fired Seibert) over pressure he got for not finding sufficient evidence to indict Letisha James. As much as I hate the idea of someone who had a good reputation being drummed out of the DoJ because of that orange piece of shit I'd have to admit his options were limited. Either he had to charge a person he knew to be innocent or leave his office. He did the right thing under the circumstances.

In the thread about Seibert I wrote this......."It will be interesting to see who is willing to take Seibert's place knowing the choice is prosecute James when the evidence does not prove she committed a crime or be fired." Now we know who it is.

In a different social media post later on Saturday, Mr. Trump defended Ms. Bondi, saying she was doing a “GREAT job,” but that she needed a “tough prosecutor” in the Eastern District of Virginia, where Erik S. Siebert, was abruptly forced from his post atop the U.S. attorney’s office on Friday. Mr. Trump said he would nominate Lindsey Halligan, a special assistant to the president who was on his personal legal team, to fill the role.

Ms. Halligan, who spent much of her career as an insurance lawyer, has never been a prosecutor.

Mr. Siebert’s exit deepened troubling questions that have arisen in recent months about the politicization of the Justice Department’s supposedly self-governing satellite offices.

But it also raised a blunter and more immediate issue: Which of the nation’s U.S. attorneys might be next?

My question is not who will be fired next for failing to find enough evidence against one of the orange piece of shit's enemies?

My questions are 1. When will he run out of boot licking hacks who will do his bidding, no matter what it is? 2. When will the resignations begin? Not resignations of people like Seibert. Who from all accounts was a dedicated public servant. When will the people who the orange piece of shit brought in to the regime say to themselves, "Enough is enough."

Trump has 3rd grade social skills. If you accept that then everything he does makes sense.

3rd Graders:
  • Know everything about everything
  • Think they can do everything better than everyone else
  • Never make a mistake
  • Are always the victims of other people’s actions
  • Surround themselves with a like minded click
  • Still believe in nonsense fairy tales
  • Throw temper tantrums
  • Draw naked girls with boobies
  • Think its cool to walk into a girls changing room

I thought I'd learn a little about Lindsey Halligan to see what kind of person the orange piece of shit would nominate to replace Seibert. It only took a second to see what her "qualifications" are.

Halligan has been part of Trump's legal orbit for the last several years, including serving as one of his attorneys in the early days of the FBI's investigation into Trump's retention of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. She has more recently been enlisted in a White House effort to remove what the administration contends is "improper ideology" from Smithsonian properties.

This particular case leaves no doubt, as if there were reason for doubt already.

I think many of us are underestimating the revenge motive. They have been driven into such a vengeful rage by the voices they trust, 24/7/365, that neither the laws nor the Constitution nor decency nor honesty are the priority now.

They can't even consider the possibility that he's going after people for actually trying to hold him accountable for things he actually did. Enough hard evidence has been demonstrated, from the fraudulent financial records to the Georgia phone calls, for any reasonable person to understand what they did and why. He has to be innocent, these people must be criminals, and there is no thought given to the contrary.

Whoa, I don't know if that's enough makeup for MAGA.

Members of The Following start with the premise there is no way the guy they voted for could possibly be guilty of the things he's accused of. That would mean they've been duped. So they search for a rationale that relieves them of the responsibility of having made a colossal mistake in judgement.

That rationale falls under the broad category of........."those evil Dem's have always been out to get my hero." With that thought in their heads they go on to accept a mountainous level of lies and bullshit as a sort of twisted defense mechanism.

All the best people.
