Trump orders new census that does NOT count illegal immigrants

Hopefully youre a constitutional scholar and not just some dipshit lefty who is making claims that he cant back up. :dunno:
That one is no scholar of any type.

Why would anyone want illegal immigrant numbers to count towards House seats?
Appeals to authority is a logical fallacy, btw.
Actually everybody wanted illegal immigrants counted in the census. They counted every slave imported after 1809 in the census, and they were all illegal immigrants.

No, it doesn't but that is fine, have your fantasy. SCOTUS will decide by and by. :)
SCOTUS has been lazy and cowardly on this topic. Like I said, neither the Constitution nor the 14th intended to count Illegals. The problem just didn't exist 240 and 160 years ago, respectivley. And trying to apply 21st Morals to 18th Century documents is beyond stupid.

Anyway, go ahead, declare yourself an Illegal on a Census form. ICE will be by shortly. So they're either going to exclude themselves or we can do it.

Works out the same way.

Re: Neither the Constitution nor the 14th intended to count Illegals.
You forgot, the first illegal aliens in America, were the slaves imported after 1809.

And they were counted, both before and after the 14th amendment.

Saying “everybody wanted it” isn’t an answer to my question. Do you think illegals should count towards House representation? If so, why?

Slaves were legal consigned property, not illegal foreign invaders.

They were counted since 1810

Read the constitution.
They were aliens smuggled illegally into the country by large powerful cartels that snuck them across the border.

Does that sound familiar?

LOL....Where did you come-up with that BS?

They were consigned property and considered a movable asset.

The legal institution of human chattel slavery, comprising the enslavement primarily of Africans and African Americans, was prevalent in the United States of America from its founding in 1776 until 1865....

I didn’t ask for a history lesson. I asked if you think illegals should be counted for House representation. Do you have any individual opinion beyond “that’s just how it’s been done”?

You realize you're arguing with an Inner City 12 year-old imbecile, don't you?

I blame COVID. None of them went back to school after it was over. It's probably repeating the 4th grade -- Again. At 12.

'Slaves Smuggled into the country' -- :auiqs.jpg: That's a knee-slapper, there

All persons residing in the U.S. must be counted, regardless of citizenship status.

The U.S. Constitution mandates counting the “whole number of persons” in each state for apportionment.
This does not permit restricting the census count to only U.S. citizens.

Any attempt to exclude non-citizens would almost certainly face significant constitutional challenges and is inconsistent with existing legal interpretation.

Again you have been caught lying. The very first words of the constitution are "We the people of the united states." So the word "people" means citizens.
