Even Sarah Palin didn't get offended by SNL sketches. SNL makes fun of all politicians.

She even did an SNL herself. Maybe that's why Trump is so pissed; he hasn't been invited.

not for nothing but nobody watches SNL in 2016.............that's show has had basically off the air ratings since the mid-1980's.

I started watching again during the campaign. Hadn't seen it for years. I have read that I am not the only one. "Nobody" doesn't just mean YOU, you know.

Their ratings are down post-election, but I think that's due to two main reasons 1) butt hurt LWers and 2) election burnout.

I do think they pick on Republicans more, but I remember the Chinese President skit with Obama. It was rough on Obama.

Trump's thin skin has always gotten to me. I have never seen such an insecure person make it so far in politics.


That said. If he builds the wall, reforms out FTAs and builds the economy I will not hold it against him

However, if past is prologue, SNL is set to see a post-election ratings slump (a similar phenomenon occurred over the weekend during Sunday Night Football and the American Music Awards).
Everyone is doing holiday stuff. If they're not watching football, you know something is afoot. It's not because of Alec Baldwin playing Trump. That's really sticking your head WAY up your ass.

It's been years since I followed football--used to bet $1 in a football pool at work, that made it fun although I never had a clue why I picked who I did.

I fail to see the point since Trump has been elected. We all know what they'll show; like Romney, Trump used the tax code to minimize his tax. Probably to zero. Remember how Romney paid less tax than his secretary? I don't fault either Trump nor Romney, I blame Congress for failing to fix the tax code and/or giving great tax loopholes to the rich and poor while sticking it to Middle America.

Trump his tax returns and see what happens. I'm betting he'd prove Baldwin to be a hypocritical liar. You know, just like his claim to move to Canada:
