It’s more than just driving to workGas prices are something I've never really cared too much about.
I'm used to paying 4+ dollars a gallon anyway just because my cars are high compression engines and have always ran on the 93 octane. And largely heated my home with wood this past winter. Which I prefer. It's cozy. And I've no economic stake in the oil industry itself. And I always make an effort to buy American and buy locally.
I look at gas prices in the lens of you have to pay if you wanna play.
But I do get that a great many Americans aren't as fortunate and are having to decide on putting groceries on the table versus fuel in the car to get to work.
Apparently that's viewed as a ''minor pain'' from the multi-millinaire politician perspective who's likely never even stepped foot in a grocery store or pumped gas. So I do feel for those folks. Many working two jobs, trying to make ends meet.
It’s paying more for all the goods and services you consume.
