Capitalism doubles the price of everything, by tacking on a 50% profit surcharge that you do not need with communism.
Look at health care in the US, and you will find it costs more than double anywhere else in the world, and is worse quality.

(It actually is more than 50% profit surcharge, because each step in the process, all ingredients, parts, labor, etc., tacks on their own 50% at the lower wholesale prices, as raw materials change hands during production. Socialism or communism can sell products for as much as 80% less because they do not require any profit at all.)
