Trump Keeps Claiming That The Pandemic "Came Out of Nowhere"

Of course, that's just another Trump lie. Trump was repeatedly warned about the danger: Trump says 'nobody' could've predicted a pandemic like coronavirus. Here are all the times he was warned about it and refused to take action.

And many books have been written about past and possible future pandemics and diseases -- for example:

And the Band Played On: Politics, People, and the AIDS Epidemic by Randy Shilts
The Ghost Map: The Story of London’s Most Terrifying Epidemic — and How It Changed Science, Cities, and the Modern World by Steven Johnson
The Hot Zone: The Terrifying True Story of the Origins of the Ebola Virus by Richard Prest
The Fever: How Malaria Has Ruled Humankind for 500,000 Years by Sonia Shah
A Distant Mirror: The Calamitous 14th Century by Barbara Tuchman
Pox Americana: The Great Smallpox Epidemic of 1775-82 by Elizabeth A. Fenn
The Pandemic Century: One Hundred Years of Panic, Hysteria, and Hubris by Mark Honigsbaum
On Immunity: An Inoculation by Eula Biss

But unfortunately, Trump doesn't read books, so how would he know anything about it? When you elect an idiot as President, this is what you get.
Go away.
NO.
Yes. You're a worthless leftist traitor. Leave.
I'm a "worthless leftist traitor"? I want to save this country from useless death. You're the traitor. You're the one who ought to leave. Trump is the worst President this country has ever had, BY FAR. Trump must be defeated in November 2020!!
Ah, go put on your mask like a good little boy. Then back to your safe place with you.
You people are foolish for not listening to medical experts. But you might find out differently from Covid-19.

Fixed.

It's a figure of speech not to be taken literally, dumbass.

Are you actually retarded, or just pretending?
What, you're claiming that Trump saying that nobody could have predicted this pandemic was a "figure of speech"? What figure of speech is that, exactly? Is it a metaphor? A simile? Or what?

You just don't want to admit that your god Trump ignored warnings of what's now happening. Many people said it could happen. Obama actually planned for something like this, but Trump dismantled all that. Evidence Shows Obama Team Left A Pandemic ‘Game Plan’ For Trump Administration
I guess you really are retarded.
That's a non-answer. Apparently, you've got nothing but stupid insults.
Thy really is all he has.

Cool avatar, by the way. Syd!

First of all, I’m not taking anything you post at face value. Case in point, your list is wrong on at least two states that I can see without digging further (you’re definitely not worth researching anything for) — the governors of MA and MD are Republican. Oops! There goes your dumb ass theory!

Second, the date of this supposed death tally that you screenshot and pasted is, 5/19. After this Memorial Day where so many people didn’t practice social distancing, you can bet the death toll will rise, and especially in the states that blatantly ignored safety measures for opening up responsibly.

I know you can’t read, it doesn’t say states with republican governors, it says states run by democrats which they are run by democrats the legislation is completely democrat. Learn how to read

Fuck you, functioning retard. Don’t ever question my intelligence. You can’t even use punctuation. You type like a slow teenager.

The issue here is that Trump lies openly and to our face, and never takes ANY personal responsibility.

The Covid-19 problems Trump faced and faces are difficult to deal with. Even if he weren’t such a fool, if a far more competent individual were President, this virus would quite probably have eventually spread widely in our country.

The truth is even with the warnings from so many scientists, with worldwide experience fighting EBOLA and SARS and so many other epidemics, with Gates’ popular warnings and funding, we were and still are unprepared to deal with such pandemics effectively. We spend hundred of billions on modernizing nuclear weapons and otherwise preparing to destroy the world. Yet we remain unwilling even to apply simple electronic tracing techniques for fear of losing privacy rights. We are still unwilling to invest adequately in rational defense measures against likely future epidemics. The next pandemic may be much worse than Covid-19. Even genuine bio-terrorism is a possibility in the future. We have all been warned.

Well, he is wrong. It came out of a lab, not nowhere
That is your unfounded assumption. You might as well argue it was a bio-attack on China.
Yea, starting out on the same block as a virus lab that has been(they have released reports about it) manipulating corona viruses for years is so far fetched lol.
And saying a man made virus is comparable to an orchestrated bio attack is ridiculous.

This current wimp of a virus shouldn't even be mentioned with malaria, smallpox, ebola.

LOL -- this is my favorite post in awhile. Not only does Trump not read books, he doesn't even read his condensed intelligence briefings. He will only look at charts and nice visual presentations with lots of pretty pictures. Makes W. look like a Rhodes Scholar by comparison.

Of course he supports a president that learned about major world events on the eleven o'clock news. At the same time as us peons do.
