I sure hope you're not in business, because if you are I don't think you're going to own a business, because your education in economics is suspect. Also let me know when you make your first billion.Only one of us is in big business. The other posts from his basement. I can assure you that companies were not being restricted from success by the government until recently. We sit around talking about other competitors, not the government. Company profits are historic highs right now. So was the stock market until Trump crashed it with Tariffs. You know what we are talking about right now? TARIFFS. How do we pass on the price increases to our customers. That's what we are talking about in big business.
Somebody told you tariffs are the Devil because socialist countries have been using them against the USA since WWII. All of the sudden you think tariffs are bad.
And anyone with half a brain knows that overhead controls everything in business. Being in a tax-friendly state or country decreases overhead. Not to mention wages. Your employees make up roughly 30% of your costs, and if the government is forcing you to pay for medical and benefits as well as forcing you to have to pay higher wages, you either have to cut jobs, raise prices for your goods and services, or move to another state or country. This is one of the reasons CA is losing people. Thanks to socialism most people can't afford to live there anymore.
