Just watched Michael Steele make that statement on morning Joe.

What does it mean?

It means whoever Michael Steele is, he's a tool and he's wrong.

Parties change as the nation changes and different issues need to be addressed. A George W Bush wouldn't win today, just as a Bill Clinton probably wouldn't win a Democratic Primary. In the end, Trump has applied some solid libertarian leaning policies, and that still falls under the Conservative umbrella. Not to mention some very conservative policies like religious freedom and his choices for judges.

They are afraid they can't get the same donors on board when he is protecting the economy from exploitation and foreign socialist ruin.

I have to agree.
Tax cuts for billionaires.
Tax cuts for corporations.
Cutting healthcare.
Flint.
Cut school lunches.
Plans to cut SS and Medicare.

All pure conservatism.

There are shifts and realignments going on in both parties today.

The Republicans are going back to its pre-WWII positions. Tariffs, anti-immigration, anti-regulation, isolationist platforms it had during the 20s and 30s.

We saw how that worked out then and it will work out the same way again.

Those that don't learn from history are condemned to repeat it.

Ever hear that expression before?

Probably not or you would not be supporting these policies.

Actually Trump is what bed wetters were terrified he would be.

An executive that is repairing the damage regressive sociopath democrooks have done to the country.

It means that Steele is upset thzt the party members selected a loudmouthed quasi-populist over the Republican Party's hand selected establishment candidate.

He holds extreme views just like Mr Obama did. The difference us thst Trump refuses to bend a knee to the party and moderste his administration's goal like Obama did.
