There are a few out on RCP this morning that has him up in AZ, FL, and GA. However, it should be noted that the AZ poll is from the Trafalgar group, which is a partisan Republican pollster, and the other two are from local news organizations, so I take them with a grain of salt.

So how do you explain the 2016 California results?

The polls were low compared to Trump's vote percentage delivered in EVERY state except California.

In California the polls had Hillary up by 22%, but the actual 'vote' came in at +28%, almost double Trumps percentage.

Why was California such a wild outlier?

The obvious answer is that California DL registration is putting a lot of illegals on the voter registry, and like most blue states, California is at best reluctant to clean up their voter registry.

The more likely explanation is that Democrats are simply manufacturing votes with vote harvesting.

As t he Penn Teller interview with Frank Lutz demonstrates, if you want 'good' results that make your candidate look good, it is a simple thing to do and many techniques are available.

The wide variation of these polls means SOMEONE is getting it totally wrong.

Some polls have Biden up by 16% others have Trump up by 1% and most people have had their minds made up since early August.

So these polls are bullshit, obviously with CNN whoring its polling out to help Biden and the rest are not conducting honest polls either.

By definition that is impossible...However, we see today that what it takes is for any overwhelming majority to have either apathy for circumstances ongoing, or to be misrepresented and their majority marginalized through their elected government...

If the latter is a large part of the problem, direct democracy will only inflame that situation by electing people that once in power work for their own intrests, rather than the issues they were elected on...

This is why on a national level the founders of this nation, with the tyranny of living under a Monarchy in mind came up with the greatest living governance document in history...It set up that people living in sparsly populated states had just as much say in what goes on as those in buldging metropolosis. This was genius. Because if not in place heavily populated cities like NY and LA would dominate policy in the US, leaving exactly what you are asking about, the tyranny of the minority.
