These laws are meant to confer extra protections for pregnant women and thus enact higher punishments for those who commit these crimes. They aren't meant to confer legal rights to fetuses lol

I have never heard of an EXECUTION for abortion. I am not all that naive. l lived prior to ROE v. WADE and worked in hospitals-----abortions went on all the time----they called them D & C "for delayed menses"
