Trump is right about the enemy within, the military should be used

I began favoring Chinese goods before they were omnipresent in stores. They are reasonably priced, and of good quality.

Trump, the hapless dipshit, still thinks that tariffs are paid by exporters. They aren't. Everytime he raises tarriffs, they're paid by importers, who pass the price increases on to American consumers. So the people paying the tarriff's are Americans.

Dipshit Donny still thinks its paid by China. Or Europe. Or Canada. Like the wall was 'paid by Mexico', apparently.

And if you put tariffs on other nation's products, they put tariffs on your products. That's the part that MAGA just pretends doesn't happen, as if by denying reality, reality changes.

And lastly, we've tried this before. Literally what Trump is proposing in the Hawley-Smoot Tariff Act of 1930. What followed is known as the Great Depression.
In 2016 Trump plugged massive corporate tax cuts as the vehicle to bring US manufacturing companies back from overseas. That didn't work and now he's plugging tariffs to get the job done. I bet he actually expects a Nobel in economics for this doozy.

It would certainly be warranted

Are you still at war with the British, mexicans, spanish, and germans?

Plus the Japenese?

If so you carry a grudge longer than most people

No, but I wouldn't expend young American lives to save them unless you could demonstrate a National Interest in doing so.

Bongbong wanting a crappy little Island in the SCS isn't in our national interest.

Here's a trendline of GDP, part Obama, part Trump. Can anyone point to the point in the line that Trump took over?

No? The trendline is essentially unchanged.

Funny how self-centered Dims are.

They don't understand the purpose of treaties and purpose of political allies overseas.

Something to do with the economy.

Quickest way to cause the economy to tank is turn your back on your allies at the drop of a hat.

We don't have a mutual defense treaty with Vietnam.

We don't have a treaty with Taiwan because WE DON'T EVEN RECOGNIZE IT AS A COUNTRY.

We do have a treaty with the Philippines, but it doesn't include disputes over Islands not recognized as part of the Philippines.

Containing china is in America’s national interest

It's a hallmark of the dangerously stupid to come up with easy solutions to complex problems that all the experts somehow missed.

These "experts" that folk such as yourself worship, almost never have any real experience.
That's a problem.

Since he and they think about half an inch deep, they don't see any potential downside.

Incredible.

You'll notice that MAGA supporters avoid this topic like its on fire, despite Trump never shutting the fuck about his dipshit plan to lay massive tariffs.

Even when this mental cripple confuses who actually pays the tariffs, insisting that the EXPORTER does, and that China will somehow pay for it, MAGA still remains conspicuously quiet.

They know Trump is full of shit. They know we know. Which is why they just run.
