There's no "fair share." Everything that comes out of Trump's mouth is simply stupid times a million, and the fact that you spread it doesn't really shine a good light on you. Each country is asked to increase their own defense spending up to 2% of GDP within a decade, but it's not like some requirement. NATO isn't some pay to play scheme, where the US collects fees from each country.
Nato seems to agree with Trump. They have agreed to pay their fair share.
Countries pay NATO and NATO claims it wants more money from countries in Europe.
You're still very confused about how NATO works.
