I imagine I could get together with my family and friends to buy in bulk and share the shipping costs. And I suppose I could plan my purchases so the timing would not be an issue. When you have to make it work, you can.Sure you can. At twice the cost but not in three days. Unless you think airplanes cost less then shipping by sea. Then you have shipping by land on both ends.No. I don't need to grow it in my backyard. I can buy it from China and get in here in three days. And I don't have to pay farmer welfare. You are either drunk, high on drugs or uneducated so I will try and do this as nicely and walk you through this as slowly as I can.Lol you really are low IQ. They are all things which are giveaways just as the farm subsidies are. There is a major difference in the fact that farms don't make it people don't eat.snap, ACA, disaster relief, Medicade and all the other programs - not even in the same universe with Chinese tariff's ...
yAWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
In your little world you somehow think that anything you don't like is somehow not the same.
Yes we do. We can grow food in our own backyards. In modern times, folks in inner cities share community gardens.
Also, not sure if you are aware, other countries have people who know how to farm. Russian's are really good at growing wheat.
They are the top wheat exporter in the world.
China actually produces more wheat then Russia. Both China and Russia subsidize farms just like the U.S. The difference is they also have subsidies to help pay for machinery, seed and in some cases fertilizer.
If you really think that you can grow enough food for more then a few months in your backyard or a community garden you have really missed the bus. What is everyone going to do during the winter? Starve or pay double what they currently pay to eat? What is McDonalds going to serve, a lettuce sandwich without the bread? Are you planning to take up your
little patch of garden to grow cotton or are you going to let your sheep eat your crops so you can have clothes?
We have so many industries dependent on farming. Farm machinery manufacturers. People who sell seed, fertilizer, trucks, etc. a large amount of the trucking and trains that move farm produce. Bakeries that require farm goods. And all the others. So you really are talking about creating a country that would starve and could not support itself.
Face it kid you really have no idea what you are talking about.
But that's all just fun speculation. I would just buy it in Mexico. I can get to downtown Tijuana in 20 minutes.
