I have no problem with it at all. In fact, I agree that AP should be banned from attending the oval office presser. On the other hand I think Vladmir Putin, Viktor Orban, and Robert Fico should be allowed into the oval office presser but strictly as observers … not allowed to ask questions or to make any comment.

The AP not getting access doesn't abridge a free press. The WH isnt banning the AP. They still exist right? Im the press do I get access now? If not, why not? Why should the AP get preferential treatment? The reality is there are a finite number of "slots" at a press briefing, who gets to decide how many that is and who fills them? You can say a lot of things about the Trump admin you cant say they don't engage with the press adversarial and otherwise.

The AP has been allowed back into the White House. The ruling never said anything about "unrestricted access to everything".
