Yeah and I know I've regretted underestimating Trump in the past, but ever since you told me that Iran was pumping their oil I've lost my complete confidence in him again. It's more like wishful thinking that he can pull this off with the blockade now.

And yet just the other day, I saw a news channel airing footage from CNN I think where they were comparing Trump with two other presidents at the same point in their careers, probably Bammy and Biden, and Trump was actually the highest of the three by a few percentage points.

Presidents always rank poorly when there are economic woes. All Trump needs to do is wrest in this Iran thing; I've known since late March that we needed to go in there and clobber the jerks. Maybe Trump should have arranged some sort of multi-national coalition first instead of just us and Israel. Either way, Trump needs to finish it, smash Iran, open the Strait, and the gas prices and economy will bounce right back.

It wouldn't hurt if Congress passed something too but democrats will not help and the GOP refuses to eliminate the filibuster.
