Trump has Changed the Template. The Next President Must be a Businessman. Who Can Fill His Shoes?

Pretty amazing.

When a smart businessman wants to cut costs, he does so by combining careful, comprehensive and informed audits with thoughtful and precise decision-making, not by sending in a billionaire with a ******* chainsaw.

Oh well. The alternate universe is in charge now. Burn it all down and cheer.

We had a chance to do it more nuanced with Patrick Buchanan back in the 90s.

BUt you people called him a racist, until he went away.

Now, you have a peasant revolt. Things are going to be messier.

This has been known for a while now. Acting suprised is silly.

The next president should not have been determined by the courts to be a sexual abuser, a business fraud, or a convicted felon, certainly not a crass megalomaniac who brays that he is the KING OF DEBT!

If he raves hysterically that Black immigrants are eating pet cats and dogs, he should be sedated.
You know damn well all those charges are faked and ginned up.

Obviously, there are far more intelligent and capable, far less divisive, business leaders who also are not qualified to govern the nation. It's a different skill set.

Cult worship aside, most Americans disapprove of the degenerate's performance on the ECONOMY, INFLATION, HANDLING OF RUSSIA/UKRAINE, etc., etc., etc.
If it's a different skill set, how has Trump been so dramatically successful? We know Monkey Boy had no skills whatsoever, and he was a disastrous incompetent president. How can you think that would have possibly worked out?

All documented as part of the unpopular cult leader's official rap sheet, actually.

As are the self-proclaimed "King of Debt"'s multiple bankruptcies.

We can all agree, Donald Trump is more than a generational talent. Someone with his ability doesn't come around once a century. So who can fill his shoes?

I think Americans are seeing the enormous value of business experience over just a political career. Trump has shown them businessmen are far more capable than career politicians. We've already seen the disastrous results of electing someone with a blank slate of achievement in 0bama. He had no skills, no ability, was a horrible negotatior, didn't understand economics, and didn't understand human nature. Kamala was the same. Utterly incompetent in what it takes to run the many facets of the country. Think of what a disaster Sanders or AOC would be. Again, ZERO practical experience. What a great development it would be if a strong business career became a must for any candidate. That would, of course, eliminate every Democrat, as business acumen is seen as a liability by the base (Tom Steyer, Michael Bloomberg). But as long as we have the leftwing media in place brainwashing gullible new voters, Marxist candidates will always have a chance. The key, as I've said many times is to eliminate and illegalize the leftwing media. If Trump could do that, it would be his most important accomplishment.

But back to Trump's successor. Neither Vance nor DeSantis has had a career anything like Trump's. It might require another business titan, who, like Trump, has seen how everything works. But which billionaire would govern with the altruism Trump does? Who is selfless like Trump, to sacrifice his time and some of his fortune purely to help his fellow Americans live a great life? Who has the wisdom Trump does, to be right on EVERYTHING, particularly on the economy? Only a candidate outside of the political realm has the courage to take bold steps that heretofore would have been unimaginable, such as Trump reforming Medicaid. Trump is highly unique in the way he understands human nature. That's why he's a powerhouse on the economy, on foreign affairs, and on negotiating. So the answer lies in a top billionaire with a great heart, who understands human nature. As a conservative, it would have to be someone who can take a punch and still stand strong, as liberals are never subject to such scrutiny. It's just hard to imagine anyone with the guts and staying power and energy of Trump.

As I said. He's a once-a-century leader, and probably the greatest president of all time. How do you follow that?

The leftwing media says businessmen make poor presidents. The opposite is true, of course. Here is one honest link noting why businessmen have made the best governors. I say the same is true for the presidency.
I agree, a businessman would be best. But it has to be the right businessman, or businesswoman for that matter. Someone like Cuban or Zuckerberg could qualify as businessmen, they would suck as President.

He's a multi-billionaire. Sounds like he's a survivor and thriver. But we already knew that.

Democrats are at 19%, Trump is at 46%.
You need to look at your party honestly, no one likes democrats but commies and socialists....19%.

At a $37T Debt it is time for the chainsaw. Otherwise if the dollar collapses we're all toast.

You should be praising Trump for saving the dollar.

Trump is worth $5.1b today. Give him credit for working his ass off until he succeeded.

I’m worn out with career politicians whose main priority is clinging to power instead of serving the American people. For decades, both Republicans and Democrats have been obsessed with protecting their own positions, Democrats just seem to be running at it on overdrive with gerrymandering, manipulating the census, rewriting voting rules, and weaponizing the “Deep State” and the courts to go after opponents. They’ve become an authoritarian force that’s deeply corrosive to the nation. Republicans aren’t much better, just slower at it.

The more we can remove entrenched politicians and the lobbyists pulling their strings, the better off this country will be.

I’d rather see leaders from business, technology, science, and other real-world fields, people with results-driven experience, than another generation of so-called “public servants” who’ve turned politics into a career and the people into an afterthought.
Yeah, all they did was create the greatest civilization in the history of the universe.

Despite the blob’s best efforts, the nation will return (probably at a substantial costs) to professional politicians who know how to manage things. The blob had to re-hire people that were fired hours earlier. He’s a prime example of a terrible manager and a worse human being.

Nonsense. A business often has books and people showing decades of performance, consistent customers etc. New guy has unlimited time to fix it up.

A new President comes in and faces hidden or destroyed information, corrupt anarchist employees in ths 100s of thousands. Global Media, courts 100% against success. Stalling lying.

The new guy basically has two years to figure it out before the mid-term onslaught is unleashed thru dirty media.

And $8T of that was on his first term.

Do you deny that?
