She did not "give" the money back , as you insinuated. She only offered to give it back, and as far as I know, he hasn't accepted it.

Thrilled. Positioned portfolios currently for increased strength and gradually higher interest rates. With hedges, of course.

Incomes still aren't increasing fast enough, though, so the question is now whether that indicates continued slack in the job market (that would be potentially fine, allowing for more growth), or that the economy still isn't growing as fast as we'd like. There's reasonable arguments for either.

All in all, though, good stuff.
