Topics like this all the more convince me that, 20 years from now, you won't be able to find anyone who will admit to voting for Trump. Unless they do so with a sigh of regret.

The GQP is in a rock-and-a-hard-place position right now. If it somehow managed to extricate itself from the cult, it would probably lose at least 15% to 20% of its voters (many would CLAIM they stopped voting, but they'd fall in line).

So I'm sure they're asking themselves whether it's even worth trying, or if it would be smarter to try a third party. It's a lousy position to be in, and by the time it happens we may have been pulled so far to the freakin' left that it wouldn't matter.

Tribalism is destructive as hell. We just don't learn.

The 13% who don't approve are probably "Never-Trump RINOs."

The Bush bashes have been very silent ever since Trump interfered with Hillary Clinton’s expected and selected coronation in 2016. These same Bush bashers had no problem with Trump previously when he was writing checks to the Clintons, Democrats like Schumer, and bashing Bush himself.

If the Bush Family becomes active in national politics again, I fully expect the Democrats to restart their bashing of the Bushes as racist, intolerant, anti-woman, etc. But, they won’t be able to tie Bush to Trump.
