Doesn't matter what he pledges to do with the money after he receives it. It's the receiving of money from a foreign government in the first place that the Constitution forbids. Doesn't matter if you keep it, burn it, or donate it afterwards, it's the initial receipt of the money that is the problem.

Doesn't matter what he does with the money after he gets it, the issue is that he would get it in the first place. The issue isn't the money, the issue is a payment that is made to a business that the president owns that takes money from foreign governments. Even if he donates it to the Treasury, the fact that he gets it at all is the issue.
And, the amount paid doesn't matter either. If it's just one dollar or ten thousand, it's still money being paid to the president by a foreign government. That is what the whole conflict of interest issue is about.
