You said green energy can “maybe supply 5%”. If you can be that wrong about energy data how prepared do you think you are weighing in on energy policy? I’d suggest you rethink your myopic view of energy and refrain from making crazy statements that people can’t care about the environment and want low prices.

The easiest way to get out of the impact of world wide oil disruptions is to not need oil. PLUS it has the benefit of getting away from the dirtiest energy generation. Green policies are smart for security reasons, independence reasons, and environmental reasons.
