The No Kings Day protests however...

The parade looked fine. I only watched a piece of it, but it looked ok. I did like the different uniforms I saw including blue coats and WWII soldiers. I wonder where they got the uniforms.

Part of the issue is that people don’t understand what the parade even was. This is due to the MSM exploiting it to fuel their TDS narrative. The parade was never intended to be a show of force like the military parades of “dictators”. Rather, it was a parade to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the US army, not a flex of military strength.

And the celebration of 250th anniversary of the army has been in the works since before Trump was elected.

Do the TDS people really think the US was trying to flex its military strength by having a parade of soldiers dressed as Revolutionary Minutemen?

After about 10 years of wanting a big beautiful military parade, Trump finally got one on his birthday. If you look at his parade in term of ratings, it was a pretty big flop. 200,000 were estimated to appear, but the best estimate of actual attendance was in the tens of thousands range. Pictures of him watching the parade are reminiscent of a kid who was expecting a pony at his party, but got his uncle in a clown suit instead. His ego had to be crushed to see the millions that showed up at the NO KING rallies to protest him.

He will almost certainly celebrate Independence Day and the 'birthday' of our Republic like all normal patriotic Americans do. Something people like your ilk cannot and will likely never understand.

The Army has one 250th Anniversary of its founding. One. To fail to commemorate that would have been historical malpractice. To organize protests instead of celebrating that should disqualify the protesters and whoever organized/funded them from citizenship.
