You could get people living in areas that are a lot safer and maybe a lot better and maybe a lot more comfortable.”

Both Egypt and Jordan have come out strongly against Trump’s idea, saying that Palestinians should be allowed to remain in Gaza and underlining concerns that Palestinians who decamp for safety may never be allowed to return. Members of Israel’s far right have called since the start of the war for reestablishing Isralei settlements there and have advocated for the “voluntary migration” of Palestinians from the enclave.

Albanian premier Edi Rama also denied on Monday an Israeli TV report that his country was in talks to take in as many as 100,000 Gazans.

“Albania has not been asked by anyone, nor can we even consider to take on any such responsibility,” he tweeted. “Albania is not in the Middle East itself, and from the heart of Europe, we cannot do more than any other European country in such a matter.”


Trump had been expected to bring up the issue during a call with Sissi Sunday. Asked how the Egyptian leader received the idea, Trump said Sissi’s “response [was] that he’d like to see peace in the Middle East.”

My first thought was that it is impossible, but my second thought was, why not? Everyone in the area, Israel, Jordan, Egypt and especially the Palestinian people would benefit from peace in the area of Gaza, but the only way to bring peace to Gaza is to disrupt the culture there that is committed to the destruction of Israel, and the only ways to do that is to either continue this horrible war until the Palestinians are so beaten they cannot mount another attack or to move enough of them somewhere else so they cannot mount another attack. Clearly, moving them out is the kinder solution.

Well sure, why not? I mean the Palestinians took up with Hamas and took the fight to Israel in the most violent and brutal way they could and lost.
The Palestinians passed on the 2 state solution in 1947 which would have sealed their keeping 6X as much land but they passed.
Now they started an all-out war on Israel and lost. Why should they break even?
And it isn't like they were making any particular good use out of Gaza; what they did there, they can do anywhere.
The important points here are that:

1. Hamas has vowed to exterminate the Jews.
2. Iran funds Hamas.
3. Biden gave Iran 6 billion dollars which now finances Hamas.
4. The Palestinians are absolutely married to Hamas.
5. Israel has a right to peace.
6. Therefore, Hamas must be destroyed, and if Hamas goes, so go the Palestinians.
