No. If we built a wall (fence) around the entire southern border, people will still be able to leave. Leaving this country has nothing to do with a wall, it has to do with government. But a wall will retard or stop people from coming in that our government doesn't want.

The wall works both ways. If it's built to prevent people from coming in using force it will also be used to stop people for going out using force. In a No Man's Zone, how can anyone armed with a M-2 determine within a second or two which group they are seeing from their Tower hundreds of yards away. Are you going to use armed Smart Robots? Will you place mine fields? Trip Wires? High Voltage People Zappers? These things really can't tell the difference between who is coming in or going out. stopping one group just stopped the other group as well. Stalin would be proud.

I know excuses are hard to come by to make your open border case, but even you can do better than that.

How could anybody be confused as to who is coming in and who is going out? When people come to your home, do you know if they are coming in or going out? How about at a store? How about at a bar?

It’s quite simple really. If you see people on the south side of the wall digging or climbing, they are coming in. If you see people on the north side driving through customs, they are leaving.

Okay, listen up, stupid. The way it used to works was, the Mexicans would come north and work doing jobs that Americans didn't want to work and do it for wages Americans would not work for. Mostly seasonal. At the end of the season, they would recross the border taking their earnings with them back to Mexico. That system worked for about 100 years and still work today if the Border wasn't a huge mess with Gaudamalans and others weren't jamming it up and the "Walls" weren't such a huge issue. One of the things that worked well was the Employers would hire busses, load up the busses at the border with "Guest" workers, take authority over them, drive them to their farms and such, house them, feed them and pay them. At the end of the season, they would load them back up, take them back to the border and released them back through the border gates. All done legally and orderly. The Crops got picked, weeded, etc.. The Mexicans had no reason to jump the border. Today, the Mexicans do have a reason. They might make it north, work for a season, get back across the border and then have one hell of a hard time going north again, risking their lives. Instead of just them coming north, they bring the whole family. The Illegals from those 3 countries have really jammed up a good system. And in order to fix the problem the wars, drugs, etc. in those 3 countries are going to have to be dealt with. And Mexico needs to be dealt with to a lesser degree.

Mexicans used to go home after working here. Then we loosened up the welfare requirements. Once illegals could get welfare going home was not an option.

If we had a wall, the only way in or out of this country would be legally, and that's the way it should be. There is no evidence to your CNN theory that they stay here instead of going home because of the border. It's yet another cheap excuse to try and convince people on the right that you have a good reason for ignoring the problem, and think others should as well.

And you would have a no man's land where it was guarded by walls, security fencing and shoot to kill armed machine gun guards. Welcome to East Berlin.

We are housing thousands of children who came here unaccompanied. They are kept in facilities where they used to be able to take English Classes & had recreational activities, etc/. No more legal services.

No, people are coming here because they know the Democrats will side with them to enter this country. Democrats fought to keep their Sanctuary Cities, formed Sanctuary States after Trump was elected, closed down the government for the longest period of time to stop funding for the wall, stopped Kate’s law in the Senate, and even give illegals the ability to obtain a drivers license in their states. It’s crystal clear Democrats are for foreigners and against Americans.

So now Trump found a way to beat Democrats at their own game.

Trump hasn't figured out a thing. He's still blindly stabbing at the darkness. Mexico is the one that wants to work with the 3 countries economically to take away the reasons. Trump contributed to those reasons when he cut the aid. Trump also stopped the Embassies from screening potential green card and visas in country meaning they had to make it to the US and apply at the US border. The "Emergency" has been generated by some really bone headed decisions by Trump. You keep giving him free rides. Stop that and make him do his friggin job and actually listen to his advisors who are actually a whole lot smarter than he is.

We've had a record amount of immigrant families invading this country. How many records should they break before we consider it an emergency?

And we've had this conversation before. Applying on US soil was mandated to apply for asylum. Trump changed that in this deal. Now the law is you must apply for US asylum in the first country you step foot in after you leave yours.

Trump promised he would continue aid for those countries that made efforts to keep their citizens in those countries. They didn't lift a finger, so the decrease in aid isn't even felt by the public yet. These people have been coming here for years and continue to do so. All the money in the world isn't going to stop them.
