Trump Chose No Black Women In His Cabinet

That is the elephant in the room because:

1. A black woman was a presidential First Lady.
2. A black woman is the VP and ran against him for president.
3. A black woman is on the United States Supreme Court

There are several who are qualified.

Maybe black women were interviewed and either declined a position or somebody else was more qualified. Trump is not at all into, in fact rejects DEI as a criteria for appointments. He has been looking for the best available people--meaning aptitude, ability, mindset, personal agenda, vision, competence, intelligence, courage. So far he has been putting together what appears to be an amazing team.

We saw the inefficiency, ineffectiveness, incompetence, dishonesty and malfeasance that DEI gave us in the current administration. Hooray for a President who looks for the best available instead of using irrelevant criteria of skin color, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc. for why somebody is chosen to do a job.

It takes a brave black person to put up with the inevitable hateful crap they get from the media, Democrats, leftists including some members of this board etc. as being 'Uncle Toms', a 'discredit to their race' or whatever and the dishonest cancel culture tactics that are inevitably used against them. There are a lot of brave people out there but maybe they weren't brave enough to work for someone the left hates as much as Donald Trump.

I say, the problem is when anyone, including a president purposely doesn't even consider someone black based solely on their skin color, ethnicity, etc... as to why he/she will not choose them for a job.

I say, consider Tulsi Gabbord who is 100% unqualified for the position Trump has hired her for in his cabinet as she has no experience for it at all. Consider that. Perhaps Trump just overlooked Tulsi's lack of experience for that position, but he considered the black females lack of experience; perhaps...

As far as what you said about some not being brave enough to work for someone the left hates well, you have a clear point on that part. I do remember the left-wing media going after conservative Mia Love and forcing her to put her race above her politics and she ended up paying a heavy price for it.

Race and gender are not qualifications for any position. Indeed, the EEOC rules specifically state that an employer cannot discriminate by race or gender among other things.

But since she was named as an example, is Tulsi really unqualified for the position she is appointed? All cabinet members are tasked with ferreting out the inefficiency, ineffectiveness, corruption and graft in whatever area of government that they are assigned and I know Tulsi is committed to that. A good leader also leans on knowledgeable people within and outside of his/her jurisdiction to learn the intricate and important aspects of their job. It is a rare person appointed into a new leadership position that already knows everything he/she will need to know.

As for credentials, I don't completely trust Wiki for anything but am pretty sure they got this right re her experience with the intelligence agencies:

Point being that in both Trump's first term and second term he never hired a black female to a cabinet position. Omarosa was hired as an aide, she did not have a cabinet position. Despite his rhetoric during his campaign to do so, he did not keep that campaign promise he made to blacks.

Every president picks those who he feels will be loyal as well as performing the job. How many republicans did you see in Biden's cabinet? None. Of course, Biden's first order of business was race, gender or lack thereof, loyalty to party, with qualifications and loyalty to the country being the last things that he cared about. Pete Buttigieg had no experience in transportation and Sam Brinton was grossly unqualified to work in nuclear energy--but they got the lack of gender qualifications checked. Harris was chosen for the same reasons---race and gender. She is absolutely unqualified to be in ANY position of leadership.
