Um...retard?

Trump doubled the federal deficit BEFORE Covid.

He also submitted the largest budget in history, up to that point, BEFORE Covid.

During Covid, he asked for more stimulus spending than the Democrats wanted!

It is amazing how selective the memories of Trumptards are.

No he didn't....https://fiscaldata.treasury.gov/americas-finance-guide/national-deficit/

If he asked for more then what the Dems wanted, then why did the Dems destroy the economy by passing more once Xiden took office?

You are a liar.

The deficit Trump inherited was $665 billion.

2019, last before Covid was $984 billion.

So either you are a liar, or are an imbecile when it comes to math. Which is it?

He will lower prices but gradually.

Cutting government spending will help, increasing energy supply and lowering energy cost will help

The only drastic way is to cut the money supply and that will crash the economy

He needs to be an American Milei

Cutting government spending will help lower grocery prices? How? What will Trump do to lower energy costs so drastically that grocery prices come down? Crash the economy? Great, I can't wait.

So you claim inflation isn’t higher today than when Tater took office?

Well gee, I wonder what massive worldwide event could have possibly have occurred to cause inflation to spike not just here but everywhere around the globe. The current inflation rate is 2.7%

Take a look at Argentina

Hundreds of times during his campaign, and again after the announcement that he had won the election, Trump has promised that he will lower inflation, "Donald Trump, U.S. President-Elect: I went on groceries. It's a very simple word, groceries. Like almost, you know, who uses the word? I started using the word, the groceries. When you buy apples, when you buy bacon, when you buy eggs, they would double and triple the price over a short period of time. And I won an election based on that. We're going to bring those prices way down".

Three days ago in an interview, he started to backpedal on that promise:

What's behind Trump's backpedaling on his promises to lower prices

After making inflation and the cost of groceries part of his campaign, President-elect Trump is starting to walk back some of his promises to lower prices.

My question on this OP is as follows:

"Will you be forgiving, excusing, or angry at Trump for not keeping his promise?"
Knock, knock ... if anyone is home in that hollow cranium ... let me remind you that Dementia Joe is still in office. I realize that nobody realizes it but it's the unfortunate fact, nonetheless.

When Trump lowers fuels costs by producing domestic reserves and unnecessary regulations, costs will, by nature, begin to drop. Don't get your panties in a wad.

The Federal Reserve has control over inflation and interest rates.

They lied. Powell has been giving conflicting messages regularly. Statements that flat out are not logical or coherent and has avoided every reporter's questions that seek to clarify any of the statements he has made.

There exists a growing demand for the Bureau of Labor and Statistics to stop lying and publish real numbers for a change instead of the falsified data they have been publishing for unemployment, inflation, and GDP growth. Cottage industries have surfaced which publish more realistic numbers.

The Federal Reserve has been relying upon these numbers to make decisions (they claim) but the narratives they have been giving do not line up whatsoever even with the falsified data.

Suspected reasons include the interest on the Government's debts are too expensive for the government to afford....to backstabbing the incoming President Trump by intentionally tanking the economy to halt the expected rise in GDP.
