On AF One and later Truth Social, Trump called Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, someone a week ago was one of his most ardent supporters, a Traitor. No explanation why she is now a traitor. It couldn't be calling for Epstein files to be released, when he is now supporting doing the same. No doubt Bondi will be charging her presently.
Trump rejects Greene’s safety concerns, doubles down on ‘traitor’ label
President Trump rejected Rep.
Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-Ga.) concerns for her own safety Sunday evening amid their ongoing feud over releasing the
Jeffrey Epstein files.
Speaking to reporters on the tarmac before leaving Palm Beach, Fla., Trump doubled down on calling the staunch MAGA supporter a “traitor” when asked about Greene saying her
life could be in danger due to Trump’s targeted rhetoric.
“Marjorie
‘Traitor’ Greene,” Trump said, purporting to correct a reporter when she used the Georgian’s real name.
“I don’t think her life is in danger,” Trump continued. “I don’t think — frankly, I don’t think anybody cares about her.”
A few hours later, in a post on Truth Social, the president once again labeled the Georgia Republican a traitor while adding a new element to the nickname.
“Wacky Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown (Remember, Green turns to Brown where there is ROT involved!) is working overtime to try and portray herself as a victim when, in actuality, she is the cause of all of her own problems,” Trump wrote in a post.
“The fact is, nobody cares about this Traitor to our Country!” he continued.
