“That was absolutely the worst statement,” Greene wrote to me in a text message months after the memorial service. And the contrast between Erika Kirk and the president was clarifying, she added. “It just shows where his heart is. And that’s the difference, with her having a sincere Christian faith, and proves that he does not have any faith.”

i do not for one second believe she was naive, she kne w who and what Trump was and was more than to follow him, she did not about faith or character, she was a sycophant just other MAGA. She is still loyal to MAGA. Her voters hate her. She is stepping away because she knew she would NOT be reelected. She floated running for Governor and was rejected. Her next job will be on Fox.

So when there is a break with that, it becomes a breakthrough... and even if for wrong personal reasons or gain, it's a breakthrough none the less....which have been few and far between.... so when it happens, how can one not support it?

(JTA) — No one voted against a resolution condemning the rise of hate crimes against Jews when it came to the floor of the US House of Representatives on Monday evening. But two congresswomen declined to vote yes.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia Republican, and Rep. Rashida Tlaib, a Michigan Democrat, each voted “present” on the resolution, introduced in the wake of attacks on Jewish targets in Boulder, Colorado, and Washington, DC.

The women — both of whom have been accused of antisemitism themselves — each said they could not support the resolution because of what they said was Congress’s inattention to other groups facing deadly threats.
