8 million more women voters than men. Women won't vote for Trump. He's the guy who appointed the judges that overturned Roe. Trump tried to have "rape" and "pregnancy" declared as "pre-existing conditions" so insurance companies could charge women more for health insurance.
Younger voters won't vote Republican. Student debt cancellation, abortion, trying to cancel student votes in college towns, the list is endless. 15% of current Republicans have said they won't vote for him if he's convicted of anything.
Republicans will have a hard time winning with anyone at the head of the ticket because the Democrats' programs and protections for rights are popular, but there is no way to win with the human albatross Trump at the head of your ticket again.

Regardless of who they run, abortion, the economy, racism and the complete and utter incompetence of the Republican Party haven't been dealt with.
The Republican Party isn't capable of governing, and have no decent candidates to run in the House or Senate. The need to cleanse themselves of Trumpism, and racism, and then decide on a platform. Until then, they're not ready to govern.

The Economy? You might want to check the inflation, energy prices. and jobs metrics during the current administration and compare to the last administration. Racism? The Democrats appoint themselves as the moral authority on racism yet have you checked what the current President has said to and about Blacks throughout his career? Most recently, telling Blacks they are not Black if they don’t vote for him. How and why is that not racist??

2. Racism gets fixed with going back to colorblind instead of considering race.
3. Abortion gets fixed by swearing that it is a STATE issue and NOT a Federal issue.
4. As for the incompetence of the Republican Party, that is a tougher nut. We can never seem to agree on anything.

The economy gets fixed with "build baby build". Stop with the cheap imports and start buying local. You already have the cheapest natural gas and oil in the first world. But you don't have the cheapest electricity by a long shot, and very little of your energy production is clean.

Things are now the worst they've been since MKL was alive. And it's steadily gotten worse since Obama was elected. Black men are still being lynched in the South.
The Republican Party has crashed the economy 3 times in past 40 years, improverishing both the working class and the middle class.
Yes you need to cut the budget, and cut spending. Instead of paying earned income credits to workers, tell their employers to pay them a living wage. Eliminate earned income credits, Most Section 8 Housing, and most Food Stamps, and all of the government workers it takes to administer those programs.
These programs are functional wage subsidies for the some of the most profitable corporations in America. Every $1 in the pockets of poor people costs the taxpayers $1.50 in administration and processing. Every $1 of raise costs companies $0.80 because wages are tax deductible, and the federal government .20 in lost taxes from the company. Prices will go up for taxpayers slightly, but taxes will go down.
The Democrats are not "worse". The Democrats are the guys who patch up the economy and get it back on the road every time Republicans run it into a ditch. But like an old jalopy that's not working well even when it is running, and needs to be replace with a more modern model, the Reagan tax code hasn't worked. It rewards wealth not work, and 80% of the American people are workers. 60% of Americans don't have the resources to deal with a $500 emergency.
An economy that only works for 20% of your people, and is gradually impoverishing the other 80% leads to to second tier status.

I don't trust any Republican on the economy. The only thing any of them ever do is cut taxes and increase the deficit. Haley would be a great Secretary of State, but she doesn't have the economic chops. No Republican does.
Trump isn't "better than Biden". Trump is a one-man economic wrecking crew. Those 7 bankruptcies didn't happen by accident. They happened because Trump doesn't listen to anyone, doesn't read, study, or prepare. When he walks into a negotiation, he "reads the room and goes with his gut". The fact that he's rich is proof positive his instincts are the "best".
Trump is the worst business man in American history - nobody has lost more of other people's money than Donald J. Trump. That's why American banks won't lend to him. His one great business success was Trump Tower and rumours have persisted since he built it that Fred was pulling strings behind the scene to make it happen.
The Republican Party is now teetering on the brink of financial collapse. Local state organizations in Nevada, Arizona, Michigan and Pennsylvannia have emptied their coffers to pay for "special audits" and legal fees for court challenges to the results of the 2020 Election, and the 2022 midterms - all of which they've lost.
Trump has replaced state leaders with good fundraising skills with "loyalists" who will pursue his court challenges and audits. The RNC has a little more than half the money in it's warchest that the Democrats currently have and donations have dropped off dramatically. Monthly legal bills for Trump's ongoing court cases are more than Trump's PAC is taking in. Cash is dwindling.
You actually have the best man for the economy in the White House right now. Obama tasked Biden with the job of restarting the US economy and Biden set off the longest period of sustained economic growth in American history, which Trump took credit for creating. The economic impact of the Infrastructure Act and the Inflation Reduction Act, take time to be felt, but by next November, people will be really seeing the impact in their family budgets.
Biden is even reducing your trade deficit. Something Trump promised to do, and failed miserably at.
