America is lucky that there is a voice of reason in the house. It must be difficult for Mr Powell to form a policy when trump changes his mind every day.
Dealing with an illiterate infant is not easy.

Basically trump has turbocharged inflaton and now wants powell to but boosters on it. #winning

Powell warned that Trump’s tariffs are going to cause inflation and slower growth than previously expected. The Federal Reserve needs to hold back on cutting rates until it has a better understanding of Trump’s policies.

Republicans don't get this. It's not Powell's fault. It's not business' fault. They are going to hold back on cutting rates and hiring until they have a better understanding of Trump’s policies.

I think so. I suspect there are people waiting to invest in the US but are waiting to see if any policy lasts longer than a week.

First problem I see is you are relying on a source that is obviously biased.
Second is in no way did Trump beg anyone to fix anything. So your post heading is just Tommy being his usual crazy.
Third is everyone in finance has been expecting the fed to drop rates. Powell has even said that they probably would, then has changed course.
All in all a complete fail on your part.
As far as Powell’s ideas I place no more emphasis on his insight then I do any others.

There are investments being made by the day so knock off the fake news speculations....
Well sure there are always investments being made. How many? Not a lot?

You mean like when Majorie Taylor Green purchased $300,000 in stocks the day before Trump called off his tariffs? No insider trading going on here of course.

Says the famous leftist birdcage liner, the guardian.

Do we need to know more?

Dropping the rates is a bit risky when trump changes direction after lunch every day. Powell can only react to the madness that trump serves up every day.

Sort it out? There is no stopping the Stable Genius.

Trump told us he knew nothing about Project 2025.

I find you almost as funny as a small car full of clowns. We just finished with the worst president in the U.S. history and you were silent on calling out him. So to be complaining on Trump shows just how off the wall you are. While I do not think Trump is a great president he does not change from day to day. So I call bull on your crazy claims again

Yea but in Peter's defense he got his facts from an expert. Ron Vara.

Remember you guys said that about Clinton?

"I think Bill Clinton was a great president,’" Trump said in the interview that was conducted shortly after the 2008 presidential election on NY1's "Inside City Hall" program.

"You know, you look at the country then. The economy was doing great. Look at what happened during the Clinton years. I mean we had no war, the economy was doing great, everybody was happy. A lot of people hated him because they were jealous as hell,’" Trump said.

Last time the stock market tanked this badly was trump 2020

Have you heard about the civil unrest in China? They have several hundred million very angry and unhappy citizens
sure they do.

So do we. And we have half their population. Per capital we are more unhappy. LOL.

And considering our worst state Mississippi is economically doing just as good as Germany.

We are the envy of the entire world. Not the victim. Trump is miscalculating.
