Trump Ballroom Unlikely To Be Built

JoeB131 there was never any reason to build it. How many times would it be used in a year that it needed to be built. In order to figure it out all one has to do is find out how many times a president has held a gathering anywhere in Washington D.C. in any given year. It's doesn't surprise me that no news agency has ever calculated it.
"If he builds it, they will come."

Say what you will, DJT did get Wollman Rink built and Ferry Point golf course in the Bronx. They had each been in planning for decades

He'll get the Ballroom rebuilt

DACA. Trump waved his arm and said it was ended.

The Supreme Court ruled he could end it but not by simply waving his arm.

Did he follow through?

Not gonna happen...But, it does highlight just how petty you people are.

Trump just showed that a President can just tear down anything he wants without approval

Especially the East Wing

Once plans are finalized and financed structures can go up pretty fast.

Yup. No new enrollees. Ongoing litigation about current enrollees

Trump probably doesn't want it built on time so he can use it as an excuse to keep hanging around the white house after January 20, 2029

Tell the truth, you're just mad that Trump will be associated with an improvement that will keep his name in history forever....

This was years ago. Nothing is being done.
?? No new enrollees. THe fate of the current enrollees is in the hands of the COurts. Not sure what you expect him to do.

Unless some future president changes the name. Americans would soon forget Trump. Just last week I replaced an old sofa that's been in the family for over fifty years, and I've all but forgotten it already.

There is a lawsuit now over the ballroom. Despite the belief by many Trumpers that Trump is a deity and above the law, he is human and subject to the laws of the land. Yes, Trumpers I know that shatters your world view. The Courts are right to issue an injunction against construction until the law has been followed and the review process followed.

So, you think that Trump is akin to an old sofa that you replaced? really?

If, G-d forbid, we every have another democrat POTUS, I hope hundreds of Republican Federal judges will file countless injunctions to stop him/her/they/them from even using the crapper in the WH

Non government projects usually have to have plans finished PRIOR to demolition.
My bet is that there are plans for it...And, that everything was approved by the corresponding development bodies in DC....If you have proof otherwise, you are free to share it.

The next generation of brain-dead Americans won't know who Donald Trump even was.

What "law" has been broken?
