I knew I was gay when I was 7 years old. I wish we had a good sex education class that explained that I was okay and I wasn't a sinner I wasn't abnormal I was just who I was supposed to be. They teach what they need to teach at the appropriate age to protect all children, not just the heterosexual children.

Parents don't have the proper discussion soon enough that's why there are so many unwanted pregnancies and STDs and misinformarion among youth. Why do you think sex education started in the first place because of all the problems.

Please don't get the wrong idea I did not act out on my sexual orientation when I was 7 years old I just was aware of my sexual orientation at 7 years old. I knew who I was attracted to and who I wasn't attracted to. I think I was about 16 and I had my first experience with a man. I know of others who started around 12. In my age group no one had the discussion with their parents as far as I could tell. Sex wasn't talked about.
