It is not like he threw it up in Trump's face, that the only reason, Russia was able to start this war of aggression against Ukraine is because Ukraine agreed to turn over their nuclear weapons to the US for destruction, under an agreement brokered by the US, in conjunction with Russia, guaranteeing Ukraine's security from attack by Russia, even though, Russia had already broken the agreement and now possibly the US was, also.

The US and Europe broke that agreement when they meddled politically with Ukraine's internal affairs by funding the Maidan.
