The thanking thing was just an aside. Vance got mad when Zelenski questioned their diplomatic capabilities. I dont think Zelenski meant to be insulting, but what he was saying was definitely insulting to everyone in the Oval Office who have been working their asses off to get a peace deal. He fucked up and then made the catastrophic mistake of continuing to argue with Trump.

Zelenskyy has been screwed over by Poootin a several occasions. I knows the man cannot be trusted. This was all staged to shift support away from Ukraine.
