It's beyond jaw dropping what the media is taking part in today. We can't call it journalism any more. To think of all the the bullshit the Clintons have been involved in and yet the media is concentrating on a close to a 6 million dollar donations to various veterans charities as a "scandal"?

Then, when Trump sets the record straight, and the record flies in the face of so-called earnest reporters, and gets pissed that the left wing media uses the blood of vets as a political pawn favoring Hillary, media heads explode and are in need of a fleet of Waaam-bulances, and play like they were only asking an unbiased question.

There's no hope for the left. They've gone completely koo koo bye bye. "Their" media makes up a headline that can do the most damage to a Republican and then they fill in a story to go with the "gottcha" grabber headline and/or soundbite. And not only do the left believe it; they revel in these games.

Conservatives have absolutely had it with the liars on the left and know bloody well the MSM is trying to play them. Right from the get go one of the reasons I loved having Trump in the race to begin with is that he was drawing all their fire BUT and it's a big but Trump has been out there for years. At every check out counter at every Kroger grocery store rack with his life on the front page of the National Enquirer.

And every indie that's out there have spent all these years with Trump as well. But the bonus is that he won't eat their shit at all. Not one puddle of poo. I was listening to Rush today and a gentleman called in who was a Cruz supporter but has now vowed to vote Trump after the press conference this morning and the gentleman said straight out that he would start tuning in to every press conference by Trump just to watch the media get seriously ***** slapped.

If not for the media, Trump would have never ponied up that money. He's a blowhard and a liar. He used the veterans and when they objected to him bragging about raising the money without actually giving them the money (only a small amount was initially turned over to veterans group), he attacked the media who were supporting the veterans by raising these questions.

A number of his big donors renegged on their promises so that the amount actually raised was far less than was pledged during the fundraiser. Trump had to twist wrists to get the money, and come up with the $1 million he pledged.

He's deflecting with his attack on the media. And the fact that he launched a scathing and completely inappropriate attack on the media, and the judge in one (there are three) of his Trump University lawsuits. There is an $40 million lawsuit launched by the Attorney General of New York, against Trump University alleging fraud. Trump also attacked other Republicans.

Citizens have a right to require transparency of their government officials. The media has an OBLIGATION to ask the tough questions. Donald has an obligation to treat others with respect. Anyone who wants to be President has an obligation to answer to the American people, through the media.

You're assuming. You know happens when you assume.

I watched the news conference from start to finish. His behaviour was appalling. Insults and abuse heaped on the media. He could have talked about what the money raised was to be used for, and highlighted the shameful way the US has treated their veterans. He had a golden opportunity and he blew it.

He could have made this all about the veterans and the work he was doing for them. It would have been a positive. Instead, in an effort to prevent reporters from asking questions as to why it took so long to distribute the monies, and why the cheques were cut only AFTER the Washington Post published their article questioning what happened to the money he said he had raised, he went on the offensive.

He was also looking to dodge questions about the Trump University law suits, one of which was filed by the Attorney General for the State of New York, which seeks to recover $40 million for Trumps victims. The judge in the case recently forced Trump to make public the "play book" employees used to scam people.
