One certainly is Harris needs distraction of some kind to take attention away from the fact that she doesn't know the issues and can't defend her horrible performance the last 3.5 years.

But above all she wants all these diversions to keep her from answering Trump's tough questions, because Trump will be the only one asking tough questions of Harris. Even if she won't answer them, The American public will hear the questions

About nicknames, "Pocahontas" completely buried Elizabeth Warren. It did two things: made her a laughingstock, and constantly reminded people she lied about being a Native American. The best part was it made her steaming mad. It took her out of the race and made her a punchline. Even today she is not taken seriously, and it's because of that nickname.

Sure, there are other, more professional ways to do that.

It worked the first time around, but I’m not so sure it will work again. And again, this is just how I feel, but there are ways to do things like that. One is a reserved, smart, and intellectual way, and then there’s the schoolyard bully childish way. I wish trump would be the former type, not the latter.
