Trump Administration Says Inflation is Rising

Were you asleep in 2021, 2022 and 2023?
It peaked almost 2 years into his presidency.
Again shows how uninformed the left is
It began three months into his Presidency and grew because Trump had been so incompetent. And here you are doubling down.

His high numbers are cooked into the books. Giving him a pat on the back for a year of 10% inflation by saying that afterwards the numbers came down is not justified. Americans are still having trouble paying their bills today because of Biden's inflation which will never go away without deflation and deflation is usually a bad thing. The left are loving to say that Trump's inflation is going up but Trump's inflation is only in the 2's, not the overall 20% we had under Biden. In four years, Trump's inflation will total up to around 10%, half of what Biden's was over 4 years.

Already answered and dismissed. Trump was a failure.

Not at all.

He was a failure in his first term, which you admit.

If he can survive the fallout from tariffs and the inflation, he can have a claim of going from F to a D minus.

Tariffs are causing price inflation. If you’re hoping for relief from domestic producers...good luck. They raise their prices to take advantage of the price increases of their foreign based competitors.

Don’t want to be an “I told you so...” But I told you so.
That's a mere 0.7% higher than the Fed target for inflation for at least the last 50 years.

Tariffs don't cause inflation unless every import is a monopoly on necessities for which you cannot avoid.

America has had inflation since the 1950s, is this because of tariffs? You've had near zero tariffs for 30+ years, have prices increased since 1992?
Since you don't know, I'll clue you in. Prices today are double what they were in '92.

Don't worry liberals, it is highly unlikely that Trump can beat Biden's record inflation. The Biden legacy shall remain intact.

He's already beat Biden.

Also renewed concerns over tariffs and the broader economy drove Treasury yields higher last week, and mortgage rates followed. As a result, total mortgage application volume dropped 10% last week compared with the previous week

tariffs are having an impact.

Inflation up 2.7% in June compared to last year

And we told you Biden's inflation was for real and at a 40 year record high - that we are still suffering from! Did you agree then, or like everyone else on the left - ignore it?
AGAIN - the left lost the right to say ANYTHING about inflation - 2 years ago you lied and denied it because it Was Biden.

LOL...well, the blob’s own adminisration is reporting the spike in inflation...not Biden.

Good luck spinning that.

What is there to spin?
You think they should lie about it like Biden's did? - for months!!
I don't understand your point, but then - you rarely do either.

What is there to spin?
I admit you have a difficult task ahead of you in trying to spin it.
You think they should lie about it like Biden's did? - for months!!
Never happened.
I don't understand your point, but then - you rarely do either.
My point?

The blob’s own administration is reporting that his own policies are causing a spike in inflation.

I’m sure you still will not understand it. You’ve been brainwashed. I bet they used a micro-sponge: the size matches your brain.

Day One has come and gone. Half a year into his Administration, I have yet to see any kind of cheaper prices.

What is there to spin?

Biden's inflation was caused by Trump's **** ups.

Trump's inflation is caused by Trump's **** ups.

He is a **** up, period.

If getting punched in the mouth hurts, does that mean every time your mouth hurts you were punched? Of course not. The fact that inflation went up without tariffs means nothing for inflation impact of tariffs.

Cost go up which will lower supply which will drive retail increases. Its just simple supply and demand stuff.

0.7% above the Fed target of 2% isn't a "spike" in inflation, sub-imbecile.

Inflation picked up steam last month amid early signs that President Trump's tariffs are beginning to have an effect on the prices shoppers see in stores.

Consumer prices in June were up 2.7% from a year ago, according to a report Tuesday from the Labor Department. That's a larger annual increase than the month before.

Prices rose 0.3% between May and June, also a sharper increase than the previous month
