Nuthin' but the truth
How in your mind do we change that? There are less than 1million H1B visa holders in the US with just over 100,000 processed per year
Nope. Not working

Rotting in the fields eh?Get this: Donald Trump’s own Labor Department is straight-up warning that with fewer illegals sneaking across the border to help out, farms are running out of hands to pick all the fruits and veggies. Stuff’s rotting right in the fields because good ol’ Americans just aren’t lining up for those back-breaking jobs in the sun.
no matter how much farmers beg or bump up the pay a smidge. That means less food hitting the shelves, and boom…your next apple or taco could cost way more bucks,
It sure looks like Mr. Trump might need to spin a full 180 real soon and ease up on the super-strict borders to let more helpers in legally or otherwise. Sure, it would sting since his big campaign promise was all about kicking out the undocumented crowd, but hey…putting the country first means keeping dinner affordable over saving face. Food inflation hitting families hard? That’s the real villain here.
As someone who voted for you twice, Mr. President, I’m begging: Open the gates for Juan and María and their crew. Our farms (and our wallets) need ‘em back…let’s keep America fed and fabulous!
Let’s make America Great Again.
Ok... let's be clear here so there are no misunderstandings. You make a great argument for expanding the guest worker program and streamlining it
I agree.
So why isn’t that happening?
One reason is that Republicans would no longer have their bogeyman
Expanded?Ok... let's be clear here so there are no misunderstandings.
If, after those who entered the country illegally or overstayed their visas are deported, we expanded the guest worker program, and resumed legal immigration, you would be happy with that.
And legal and safety protections.
If farms have a very simple avenue for hiring LEGAL immigrant migrant workers... then ask yourself, what is the advantage for them in hiring illegal immigrants?
I'll give you a big clue.
Less wages. Substandard housing. Less safety protections. Less insurance. The power to threaten any employee with deportation.
Who are they going to complain to?
AND ended birthright citizenshipOk... let's be clear here so there are no misunderstandings.

Agreed.Yup. That has been going on for a while and is still happening.
I'm sure increase in cotton prices was an 1864 argument against ending slavery. The alternative options raise food prices for everyone. Are you sure that’s what you want?

Would you have been swayed by it?
To a number that filled the requirement. But legal, tax paying, legally protected agracultural migrants. Not truck drivers or door dashers or construction workers. Limited to seasonal agracultural work and returning home at the end of the four month harvest season.Expanded?
To 130,000 a year?
You have hit right on the problem.I don't understand why there aren't enough legal work visas issued to meet the harvesting demand. Something isn't adding up.
They mention the drain on your purse when you pay more for groceries.Did they mention illegals drain on American taxpayers?
If they are legal and they cannot provide for themselves, deport them. Simple. They do not get public benefits at all.Non citizens can be legal. Ever heard of legal immigrants? Clueless fellow conservative.

I have told you people for over a decade we need immigration reform, but every time someone submits a bill, a handful of racists knock it down. How in your mind do we change that?
Not here. We all use machines and robots.Rotting in the fields eh?
Where is that exactly?
