Trump's comments today lead me to believe that he might very well be leaning towards some type of "work permit" system that would let vetted workers into the country to work jobs that aren't being filled by Americans...with most of them returning to their country of origin with their earnings and some of them applying for green cards to become more permanent members of our work force.
