Trivial but odd recent event

Exactly. People go into a tavern for relaxation, fun and camaraderie. They laugh, yell, horse around, maybe flirt, and do many other things. Bumping fists is a commonly-accepted way of informal communication. Having a tavern girl/hostess who has an issue with it can only lead to misunderstanding, miscommunication, confusion, and bruised feelings making people feel less comfortable and welcome in the place. It's not like just bumping fists is like grabbing someone's ass.
Well see you can think and express accordingly
Lib loons are all pearl clutching like we are talking about an ass pinch, tit hit or P grab. . Such melodramatic twerps

Serving drinks involves taking orders, interacting with customers and keeping morale high in the place through lighthearted camaraderie. If I just wanted served a damned drink, a machine and a conveyor belt could do as much.

Like I said (twice now), she had a fear/restriction on her ability to interact with the clients.
And being touched against her will has nothing to do with being touched. And yet she still did her job just well enough regardless. Swing and a miss from you. Try again and explain why she needs to just shut up and let people touch her body without consent when they want.

I wouldn’t consider a simple knuckle-bump the same as “touching her body.”

Don’t expect logic from Muslim morals. You’re forbidden to look at a woman’s hair but it’s OK if she squats to pee in the street.

To me, if a person doesn't want to be messed with in any way, a bar is not the place to work.

God bless you always!!!

Neat judgment!

Now judge people who put their hands on someone after being told by that someone not to touch them.

For the last time, fist bumping is not sexual groping. Quit wasting people's time here denying that superficial and casual contact with customers is an ordinary and expected part of being a bar maid.

Maybe, but it's not really your decision to make.

Yeah, it kind of is. Ever hear of the customer always being right?
I've never once in 50 years ever had a bar maid tell me it was against her religion to give me a simple fist-bump.
Frankly, I don't want a muslim serving me drinks who feels "soiled" by contact with me.

Sooner or later, I expect the bar owner to come to his senses and realize she is bad for business and fire her.

Or maybe she isn't bad for business, and the clientele that gives them money is glad you aren't there.

I didn't say it was sexual groping, but that still doesn't give you or anyone else the right to touch her without consent. It's interesting how you see the idea of keeping your hands to yourself as a waste of time though. It doesn't have to be sexual to be inappropriate. Imagine someone touching your kid without their permission. They could just be be grabbing your child's shoulder lightly in a crowded area. Regardless of any harm not being done, they don't have that right.

That is the very reason why I said that a bar is not the place to be. People may be respectful when they first walk in, but once they are liquor loaded enough, anything can and will happen.

God bless you always!!!

If someone has a sign around their neck that says “Don’t look at me…don’t speak to me” do you feel civilization is obligated to obey?

How do you fist bump someone without consent?

Again, I'm only talking about ordinary, expected contact. There is a huge gulf between "keeping your hands to yourself" and overt, unwelcome advances. Inappropriate behavior needs reported to the bar owner. This girl is in the wrong line of work and should just quit before she gets fired.

Okay, but I guess I can make the same argument against you ever leaving your house.

I mean, anything can happen.

Plus it implies that something is offensive or creepy about the friendly customers

True, but if anyone goes to a bar with the impression that it is the safest place to be, they are most definitely only walking the tightrope without a net underneath them.

God bless you always!!!
