Hi guys I am new here and my first topic is about a horrible trade treaty that some say will effect US Sovereignty and are Domestic laws and this Trade Treaty and even the President claims it will create jobs, but it will do anything BUT create jobs The Obama administration 8217 s illusionary job gains from the Trans-Pacific Partnership - The Washington Post and instead will give Corporations power to override are US laws and even take away rights on the internet, getting affordable Generic Drugs and lead to Food Safety Problems The Trans-Pacific Partnership Would Destroy our National Sovereignty Economy In Crisis


The Trade Treaty being negotiated and almost completed now is called the Trans Pacific Partnership and it includes 12 mostly rogue and even some Communist nations like Vietnam being involved in a Trade Treaty that only has 5% of this Treaty having to do with Trade and more of a Corporate Power Grab. TPP Threatens American Jobs and Freedoms American Jobs Alliance


What is the real agenda behind this treaty: Well for one thing it takes away the Free and Open internet and gives Government and Corporations power over the Free and Open net: SOPA Dead in Congress Alive in Trans-Pacific Partnership Puts extra Patent Protections on Generic Drugs and ceases affordable Generic Drugs and even allows Brand Named drug prices to be increased Could the Trans-Pacific Partnership Hurt the Drugstores Puts Food Safety and Food Inspection at risk allowing unsafe food to come to are American Shores Trans-Pacific Partnership - Undermining Food Safety Ends any knowledge that products and Food Products are MADE IN AMERICA as it bans any packaging that says MADE IN AMERICA OR MADE IN THE USA leaving customers to NO LONGER know where there food or products are made The TPP Would Take Away 8220 Made in America 8221 Economy In Crisis even Environment will be effected by this bad Trade Treaty How the TPP Would Impact Corporate Power Attacks


There is much this Trade Treaty would end and Corporations under the Trans Pacific Partnership would create there own International Courts to undermined are US Domestic Courts and Laws meaning there Corporate Courts can override are US Laws and even are US Constitution Trans-Pacific Partnership Takes Legal Authority Away from Domestic Courts

Congress knows that this treaty would never get 67 votes in the Senate to ratify this bad Trade Treaty so they are pushing a method called Fast Track Authority or Trade Promotion Authority and what that does if Congress (HOUSE AND SENATE) vote for Trade Promotion Authority and it is signed by the President then once this Trade Treaty is complete which is expected to be THIS 2015 Spring then this Treaty would go to the Senate and it would only take 51 votes to pass this treaty with NO AMENDMENT (CHANGES) or FILIBUSTER (STOPPING) this bad treaty from passing.


Sadly President Obama and the House and Senate Republicans favor this Domestic laws killing Trade Treaty Obama says he willing to defy Democrats on his support of Trans-Pacific Partnership - The Washington Post

Yep, trade treaties never work as advertised and not only cost us jobs but usually jack up goods and commodities prices in the countries fool enough to sign on.

NAFTA created the ability to ship goods cheaper through Mexico into the US.

This helped bring down the cost of the auto mobile so that the American car companies could compete with their foreign counter parts. It was good in one way and bad in others..
