I understand that. But someone still has to make the call. I don't believe the tow companies can just patrol around and tow vehicles at will, even if the vehicle is illegally parked. I could be wrong here, at least as it stands in certain states. But if I am and they can, I find that unsettling.

I can't speak for California nor Louisiana, but here in Virginia I believe they can. They can when the vehicle is illegally parked, there is clear signage, and the tow company has been contracted by the property owner.

The bipartisan bill would have authorized the continued processing of up to 5,000 illegal and "refugee" border crossers per day. They can't even process the millions that are backlogged now. What sense does it make to continue allowing another 5,000 every single day? None. Currently, illegal border crossings have dropped below 300 per day because they know we now have an administration in place that won't tolerate it. What makes more sense to you? 5,000 per day or 300?

While the bipartisan bill did authorize additional money for more border patrol and immigration judges and courts, we can still and should do that now too.
