I was wonderin' the same thing........What does all of this have to do with pounds?
All contributions to this thread should ask a question about what liberals have great logical difficulty trying to “answer.”
1. One of the recent entries: DEFINE “woman.”
2. Can a biological male be a “birthing person?” (What the **** is a birthing person?)
3. How does a few hundred more billion dollars being spent by the US Government help (in any way) trying to LOWER inflation?
4. If you raise the taxes on a corporation, can you deny that every penny of those additional costs or manufacture and supply WILL be passed along to the consumers?
4b. Can any lib cite three historical incidents where the additional cost of taxation wasn’t passed along to a corporation’s consumer?
4c. Therefore, can any lib justify raising corporate taxes when you know (or should know) that the taxes (being passed along to the consumer) means that the new tax is really just a cynical way to make people pay more taxes?

I wonder if there are any honest and intelligent liberals out there who have the gumption to just answer my question?
Where is that stinkin’ Ouija board?
"Woman" is a song by John Lennon.
Year one (before this new tax): company earns 30 billion!I deny that
Corporate profits are not a zero sum game with the consumer footing the bill
The market will determine the price of goods and services not the desires for corporate profits
Now I’m suspicious. Some of those answers suggest you may be a poseur; an agent provocateur, a spy, a fifth columnist or worse (if there is a worse).
But either way, I’m gonna have to throw the flag, award a penalty and eject you from the game. You failed to answer the questions actually asked. And if you (as you claim) are not a liberal, then your input didn’t come from a qualified invited responder.
Year one (before this new tax): company earns 30 billion!
Year two (year of first application of new tax to the businesses): Company has to pay 3 billion. So their gross income goes down!
Year three: company raises it pricing structure to pay last year’s tax and this year’s tax. So now they show a 36+ billion, gross and has already paid all its tax ligations. And, all other things being equal, they did so by making the consumers pay more per item of product.
Moral? **** the “people!” Vote DNC or we’ll subpoena your tax returns and credit card history and your attorney client paperwork and we will also seize your cell phone.
Found it.

Look the choice was either War and Peace or your post for my night’s reading. I went to war.Exactly how much is the "fair share" of the income someone earned should they able to keep?
Why is it that time and time again, revenue paid to the treasury has GONE UP after we've cut taxes?
Are you pro-choice or pro-abortion? If it's pro-choice, do you feel people should be able to choose to have an assault weapon?
If corporations are so awful, greedy and bad for the country, then shouldn't we be celebrating when they decide to close their plants here and move overseas?
How can liberal economists like Paul Krugman be right when they claim that our economy isn't doing well because we aren't spending enough money when we're already running massive, unsustainable deficits and spending is going up every year?
If Republicans don’t care about the poor, why do studies consistently show that they give more to charity than Democrats do?
How can you oppose putting murderers to death and be fine with killing innocent children via abortion?
The earth has been warming and cooling for thousands of years with temperature drops and increases that are much larger than the ones we've seen over the last century. Since we can't adequately explain or model those changes, what makes us think we can say with any sort of confidence that global warming is being caused by man?
If firms can get by with paying women 72 cents on the dollar for the same quality of work as men, then why don't we see any firms with all female labor forces using those lower costs to dominate the marketplace?
Why do you live in a white neighborhood?
What percentage of America should be white? At what percentage is it acceptable?
What percentage of the population do whites have to be before it's morally acceptable of them to be proud of their ancestors and heritage?
When is it ok for for someone to say "I'm a proud, straight, white male"?
What is the exact number of illegals that should be allowed in the US, before it's ok to say "enough"?
If you want to help people who are fleeing bad economic circumstances to immigrate here, why don't you go help them in their own country?
Why aren't you taking any refugees into your own home?
Who made you made you the morality police?
Why did Trump win in 2016?
Are you better off than you were in the pre-pandemic Trump era?
Why do you think corporate tax breaks are actual physical taxpayer's money the government gives those corporations?
Another question:
When presented with a list of questions, why do liberals get fixated on one single question while ignoring the rest of them?
Just to be clear, are you saying no corporation profits are ever effected by the taxes they pay? If that is true, do you think it is fair for no corporations to pay taxes on their profits? All contributions to this thread should ask a question about what liberals have great logical difficulty trying to “answer.”

Oh, and what is going to happen to the costs of food and other goods because of the win for the Railroad Unions? That will be passed on to the consumer as well. All contributions to this thread should ask a question about what liberals have great logical difficulty trying to “answer.”

Sorry, but corporations just don’t get to have consumers pick up lost profit.Year one (before this new tax): company earns 30 billion!
Year two (year of first application of new tax to the businesses): Company has to pay 3 billion. So their gross income goes down!
Year three: company raises it pricing structure to pay last year’s tax and this year’s tax. So now they show a 36+ billion, gross and has already paid all its tax ligations. And, all other things being equal, they did so by making the consumers pay more per item of product.

my question to libs would be....if you make everyone poor, how exactly does that help the poor? All contributions to this thread should ask a question about what liberals have great logical difficulty trying to “answer.”

It makes them feel better; like burning down a Wendy's.my question to libs would be....if you make everyone poor, how exactly does that help the poor?
The stupid Leftest hate corporations. They love worthless corrupt government bureaucrats but they hate the corporations that produce goods and services and provide good employment for tens of millions of Americans. When the people you vote for say "TAX CORPORATIONS" that means "TAX YOU AND ME"!
Their profits are calculated by what they take in compared to what it cost them to get their products out there. The difference is profit. But if they calculate into the equation the fact that will need to pay the taxes, they will add that cost into the mix to determine the higher price per unit.Just to be clear, are you saying no corporation profits are ever effected by the taxes they pay? If that is true, do you think it is fair for no corporations to pay taxes on their profits?
