Obama inherited a $1.2 trillion deficit from Shrub the day he entered the White House. Obama also inherited 11% unemployment and a totally wrecked economy. He has cut the deficit and unemployment in half, and the economy is back to thriving again.

And now that the cons have control of both houses of congress, every dime of deficit spending is on them. If the economy tanks again, that's on them too. And unemployment also.

Obama's needs to be updated.

They don't know the difference between increased spending and increased death.........They just know they hate Obama. The irony is they voted down everything Obama and still don't know that he isn't increasing spending by that much. I asked people before Obamacare passed what he increased all of this spending on and they said Obamacare! It wasn't even passed yet!

There is spending, increased spending and decreased spending. Obama should have decreased spending IMO. But he certainly didn't create the costs.

This is BASIC math and politics.

Largest growth of national debt is correct, just not largest growth in spending.

They do support the Tea Party platform? They are saying they want a smaller government? They want less spending?

Well, that is what they are bragging about.

Please, someone. Let me know what their point is.

Excellent point. If Obama is actually cutting spending, and they applaud it, why do they hold such disdain for the tea parties for trying to do the same thing?

Because the Tea Bag Brotherhood wants to make all the cuts from the safety net, the Dems want a balance of cutting the waste and taxing the super wealthy.

Thats what the Dems want? Maybe you could show us where they want to cut to balance the budget and pay down the debt?

not all of it, but his name is on the debt list along with every other president that left office with a Federal deficit on the books ... the next POTUS gets the deficit added to the national debt, and so on and so on, President after President ...

some idiots are actually stupid enough to believe Obama racked up all 16$ trillion all by himself ... take you for instance.

No matter how you look at it, Obama is still on track to rack up more debt than any other president. You can't run the kinds of deficits he's been running for years and escape that.

Bush signed 7 debt ceiling increases in 8 years ... BoenerHead, Cantor, McConnel etc etc ALL voted for the increases.

If I recall correctly, Obama called it unpatriotic and irresponsible. Guess it's not so much any more. Of course, I haven't heard him apologize to Bush for it.
