It's ultimately Joe's fault for not realizing he simply couldn't handle a much more accomplished politician, but at the same time, given what caused his decline, he may not have even had the ability to know he was seriously diminished. The millions of dollars already donated to “The Biden Harris Campaign” weren’t the property of the DNC. They were in the campaign warchest of Biden and Harris. Without a Biden, there was a Harris. She held control of that money and she could have run a an independent even without the nod of The DNC.
