A new list of the top 500 supercomputers has been published. Regarding the top 50 supercomputers, 45 were built by American companies. Of these, 35 are located in the US, 5 in Japan, 3 in the UK, and 2 in China. Switzerland, Netherlands, Spain, Canada, and Germany, each have one. The fastest supercomputer in Russia is ranked 56th and was manufactured by IBM. The fastest French supercomputer is ranked 77th and was manufactured by Hewlett-Packard.
