I don't know how familiar you are with epidemiology.... I am certainly not degreed in the field but I did work at a research hospital for 12 years in an outcomes oriented data collection department. Having had an opportunity to speak with many epidemiologists and having to sit through mandatory infectious disease lectures aside from having to sign a waiver that allowed them to stick me with any needle they wanted to any time they wanted me to stick me with it I picked up quite a bit.

There is obviously something to the numbers... I'm not sure what it is yet it may very well be that it's foolish to turn down the vaccination. I think reasonable responses to reasonable risks are reasonable. It’s a lazy argument to claim there is some secret power play going on. The answer is much simplier. Covid is real enough but so is the growing hunger of the government beast for greater power and deeper micromanagement of its citizens' lives. This is not an evil conspiracy theory it is the simple mechanics, tried true and well studied.... of authority structures and their relentless progression towards greater authority and dominance.

As far as tackling the virus it's not something that we're going to be able to do. This virus was bound to take its course one way or another with or without any human interference.

I do not believe that any lives have actually been saved nor do I believe that numbers have been reduced by our actions. I think all we've done is to delay the inevitable and maybe even made it worse.

As of Monday, Michigan has the highest daily rate of new cases per 100,000 residents with 85, according to the New York Times, followed by New Hampshire with 73, New Mexico with 67, and Vermont and Minnesota both with 61. All the states in the top five voted for president Biden in the 2020 election.

Michigan had some of the most strict coronavirus lockdowns last year as the virus spread across the country, which resulted in bars and restaurants being shut down across the state and eventual protests at the Capitol building in Lansing.

Vermont, meanwhile, has the highest vaccination rate in the country, with nearly 72% of its residents being fully vaccinated, according to CDC data this month. Control again? Control of what? Almost all of these policies came out under Trump. We were a year into masks and 2 months into vaccinations and a year into social distancing when the regime changed. The only thing Biden has put policy in place is OSHA rules which I think is fine to be mad about.
