I have no idea what state you live in but here in Florida all I need to carry is Liability and Uninsured Motorist. Very, very reasonable. I have two cars and a late model Harley. On the Harley, I'm required to have $12,000 medical because we are not required to wear a helmet.

Most, if not all people without a license can't get automobile insurance.
