I've seen Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers three times and every performance was top notch.

I saw Tom Petty once in concert, he was excellent. Steve Winwood opened for him and played some great guitar! I was surprised to hear him play that well. This concert was around 2007 or 8.

They are both great, Winwood had some amazing music that never made the radio back in the day, too.

bluzman61 damn,lucky you,you at least got to see him once,i never had that pleasure.its too bad the net wasnt around back then,thats how i been seeing all these old timers lately like rod stewart and billy joel is the net.back then i just had to count on hearing it on the radio station i listened to so i missed out on lots of them.

its sooooooo easy to see an artist these days that you never had seen before thanks to the net,you just google the artist and the tour date for this year and whamoo,everything you need to know is shown to you and you can find out when the ones you have wanted to see your whole life are coming to your area.

as i said,i missed out on a bunch of them in the past because you only had your radio station you listened to music to to rely on for that information so i missed out and am catching up on the ones i missed.

what sucks though is there is no fucking way i will ever have the chance to see tom petty like i wanted to. i learned after his death,not to fuck around anymore,the onesi havent seen that I always wanted to,i google them now.thanks to the net,i finally got to see the eagles after all these decades. thank god i can say that i DID get to see them at LEAST once.

wish bonnie tyler would hurry the hell up and come back to the states,last couple years she has only been in other countries.
