Tom Homan: It's been hard to find undocumented immigrants.

I recognize the subtleties of your thread. The sentiment.

You seem to be pleased that Homan isn't finding any, and likely believe there are no undocumented immigrants with criminal records out there to find.

He isn't finding them because he isn't looking where they are at. At work.

Sure. You expect me to believe you're genuinely helping him?

From what I see of you, you oppose much of what Trump is doing. So I can't take what you say seriously.

Well duh, because

1) As of the time of this OP, activists were leaking locations of ICE raids, and,

2) Undocumented immigrants with criminal records aren't just going to make themselves easy to find, are they?

Dude, where do you get this stuff?
Because Trump, like with Obamacare, said it would be so easy to get rid of all the illegals.
Trump said that law enforcement knew where they were, and just had to pick them up. It would be so easy.

To date Trump has offered only two details:

He would have a "Deportation Force." But don't worry, because he adds, "You would do it humanely."

His policy website indicates he would "triple the number of immigrations and customs enforcement agents".
(US Customs and Border Protection, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and US Citizenship and Immigration Services) combine to employ a little fewer than 100,000 people. Even though this number includes not just actual border personnel but also the guys who keep out illegal plants and vegetables and stuff, we'll count them all as "agents." A Trump trebling gives us 300,000 "immigrations and customs enforcement agents" - to remove 11 million undocumented immigrants.

That's a ratio of 37 immigrants per agent.

You are quite silly.

90 percent will still be here in 4 years and none of it will be because of me.

President Donald Trump’s border czar has admitted that authorities have found it “hard” to find undocumented immigrants with criminal records.

In an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash on State of the Union, Tom Homan said that whole teams of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers are having to raid neighborhoods to carry out the administration’s deportation plans.

“It is hard because rather than one man arresting one bad guy in a jail, we’ve got to send a whole team to the field to find someone that doesn’t want to be found,” he said in an interview Sunday.

Border Czar Whines It’s Been ‘Hard’ to Find Undocumented Immigrants

What, they didn't realize this before making all the outlandish claims? Maybe they should be looking at the employers as opposed to random neighborhoods.

They send 100 to arrest one "bad guy" in Colorado despite local authorities telling them that those they were looking for weren't there and then they come up with excuses for largely failing.

"Millions" Trump said. Maybe he should just fall back on the tried and successful "THEY ARE EATING DOGS"!!!
No, the illegals are being protected and tipped off by the left.

I'm not the one believing Trump will actually deal with the illegal issue in any meaningful way.
Then I apply Occam's Razor to your stance.

The simplest explanation I have is that you are pleased with the development, given your overall opposition to Trump's overall agenda.

I've argued for years that there need to be business raids. Trump doesn't have it in him to do it.

Hmm, if I recall there was a thread here about an ICE raid on a construction site where a guy obstructed ICE agents to shield his illegal brother.. I think he's doing that. Courthouses, worksites, etc.

But I don't see you praising that. He's doing precisely that and getting roundly criticized for it.

How come you have yet to take notice?

LOL

And... voila!

Now you're being naive,
You forgot who tipped them off.

Trump tipped them off

Jan. 22 – DOJ threatens action against Chicago officials who resist immigration orders

Jan. 23 – ICE makes first major sweep under Trump with over 460 arrests nationwide, including Illinois

ICE carried out its first large-scale operation under the Trump administration, arresting more than 460 people across multiple states, including Illinois.

And... voila!

The problem with that? Those arrested who are illegals committed a misdemeanor.

Those who hired them committed a felony but get no charges.
